ATV Safety Training

The Minnesota DNR has important information regarding ATV safety and the requirements needed to drive and ATV legally in Minnesota. If you are under the age of 16, you must complete the online safety course and attend an in-person Hands-On Safety Class.

The Minnesota DNR has all the resources you need regarding snowmobile safety courses online and in-person class sign-ups. You must have successfully completed a snowmobile safety course before riding alone in Minnesota.
